Credential applications are not yet open for the 2020 Florida Blue Florida Classic.
Florida Citrus Sports will ask the media relations directors of the participating schools to review the list of applicants and all applications are subject to final approval by the Florida Citrus Sports staff.
Media members, once approved, may pick up their credentials at the Florida Citrus Sports offices during the hours listed below.
No credentials will be mailed.
To obtain your media credential you must:
- Be present at the credential distribution center at Camping World Stadium to receive your credentials, thus one person cannot obtain media credentials for all members of his or her media agency without written approval and a confirming e-mail.
- Present a government issued photo ID.
- Sign your name on the credential registration form. Please Note: For security reasons, credentials will only be issued to the recipients named on the credential application unless pre-authorized by Florida Citrus Sports.
Game-Week Credential Pickup
Prior to gameday, you may pick up your credentials at the credential distribution center on the southeast side of Camping World Stadium on Friday, November 20 between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Credentials not picked up on Nov. 20 will be available for pickup until one hour after kickoff on gameday in the same location.
A map of the credential distribution center can be found by clicking here.
A limited number of parking passes are available. Media may apply for parking passes during the credential application process. Parking passes will be issued based on availability and approval by the participating institutions’ sports information directors and Florida Citrus Sports, and will be issued at a ratio of one pass per every two people to apply from an agency. If approved, your parking pass will be e-mailed to the e-mail address supplied on the attendee’s application and must be printed at home before arriving on gameday.
Credential use is for working media to obtain admittance to the Florida Blue Florida Classic game. The credential does not function as a ticket to all official Florida Blue Florida Classic events. If you plan on covering Battle of the Bands, please indicate your interest in the specified section of the online application.
The press box at Camping World Stadium is equipped with wireless internet and hard Ethernet lines. If you need a phone line or additional services, please contact Florida Citrus Sports at least two weeks in advance of the game.
No online internet service will be allowed “real time” transmission of the Florida Classic. Only the game’s television rights holder, ESPN, is allowed “real time” transmission during the event. “Real Time” is defined as any online media providing live continual play-by-play coverage of an event. Outlets planning to cover the game using social media applications (such as Twitter and Instagram) should provide those handles on their credential application.
Photo passes will be issued only to accredited photographers and videographers on assignment and photographers authorized by Florida Citrus Sports. No freelance photographers will be granted credentials. Photo passes grant access to the sidelines, photo workroom and press box. Under NCAA rules, photographers are not allowed between the 25-yard lines and must remain outside the restraining lines surrounding the playing field. PHOTO VESTS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOOT PHOTO AND VIDEO FROM THE SIDELINES. Vests can be obtained by those with approved TV-Photo passes in the southwest tunnel prior to kick off.
TV stations planning to bring satellite trucks to the game must mark the appropriate box in the credential application.
