About the Collaboration
The Florida Classic and Fix My Sole have joined forces to create a one-of-a-kind artist expression project — celebrating the pride, legacy, and tradition of the nation’s largest HBCU rivalry with a 1-of-1 Nike Air Force One.
Designed by Elijah Rutland, FAMU alumnus and founder of Fix My Sole, this exclusive sneaker collaboration pays homage to both Florida A&M University and Bethune-Cookman University. More than a shoe, it’s a canvas — honoring the Classic as a cultural moment that unites generations through athletics, music, and community.
From the excitement of the marching bands to the power of the rivalry on the field, the Florida Classic is a living tradition that brings families, alumni, and fans together year after year. Through this collaboration, that tradition is expressed in a new form — art you can wear.
